First of all I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Hopefully everyone had a great Christmas Holiday filled with joy and fellowship. As 2024 is upon us, we have a lot in store for us as a party and we are going to hit the ground running.
To kick everything off we have the County Caucus on January 13 with a message of "Your Vote, Your Voice, Our Future". To participate go to the WCRP website for precinct locations or simply click here. If you are unsure of your precinct number, go to vote.wa.gov enter your info and sign in, then at the top of the page, click on "your voter registration" and your voter information including your precinct number will be displayed. From there you can access the WCRP website to find your precinct caucus location on January 13 and be a part of the process. Delegates that are voted in will then attend the County Convention on February 24 and from that point we will elect a group of people to attend the State Convention this April in Spokane. The end result being the National Convention in Milwaukee this July. One of the goals of this process is to have a governing body to decide who will be endorsed at the State and National levels in the Republican Party, and it all starts here at the grassroots level.
Also on the horizon is the annual Lincoln Day Dinner on March 23 at the Ferndale Events Center. This is our annual fundraiser for the WCRP but it is also a platform for Republican Candidates to use on their journey to public office.
At this time of year we like to remind everyone about renewing annual membership dues. This can be done by simply clicking here or going to the website and choosing the "Membership" tab. If you aren't interested in being a member but would still like to donate to the WCRP, you can do that by clicking here or going to the website and choosing the "Donate" tab. Finally, a lump sum donation is not required, there is an option for making smaller monthly payments over time. All of this can be done on the payment page.
Let's start 2024 off with a bang and have a great turnout for the Caucus on January 13. I look forward to seeing you all somewhere along the way, and remember, "bad things happen when good people do nothing."
