Statement
It’s been an honor serving Whatcom County as your Senator. From the back yards of Bellingham to the front yards of Ferndale, I have been welcomed by Republicans, Democrats, and Independents that are excited about our historic campaign. I believe our generation deserves a voice at the table to find solutions to serious issues facing us.
I’m concerned about the direction of our county. Families are hurting from high crime rates, skyrocketing inflation, soaring gas and food prices, high housing costs, and crushing taxes. During the legislative session, I introduced legislation to suspend the state gas tax and lower property taxes, fought to fix anti-police laws supported by my opponent, and brought in millions of dollars of flood relief. There is more to do, and I will continue to fight for you.
This is our home; I want to serve you and represent the diversity here in the 42nd district. Your views and beliefs matter. I will always listen and hear you. My track record shows I have worked with members of both parties to protect Whatcom County, improve our quality of life, and preserve our pristine environment. It would be an honor to have your vote!
