As your district 4 candidate, I am dedicated to restoring affordability, preserving our heritage, and advancing responsible development. As a lifetime resident of Whatcom County, I’ve witnessed the challenges we face, including the unwarranted rise in our property taxes resulting most recently from Proposition 5. You deserve a representative who will protect your values and interests. Growing up on a fourth generation farm in Lynden, I understand the unique challenges of agriculture and water rights. I’m devoted to re-establishing the conservative values that have driven the prosperity of District 4. Responsible development is essential for our future. I believe in balancing growth, sustainability, and community well- being. By supporting local businesses, attracting new industries, and creating jobs, we can drive economic growth while preserving our resources and County character. By prioritizing affordability and addressing escalating housing costs, we can secure a prosperous future for our community. Together, let's build a thriving economy that works for you, the people of Whatcom County. As your advocate, I will be your unwavering voice on the County Council.
