I will listen and work for the people. Safe neighborhoods, affordable housing, and a strong local economy have begun to feel like a thing of the past. We are experiencing the impact of a local government that just isn’t working well for the people it’s meant to serve. My priority will be to work together with all stakeholders to address what matters to our communities over partisan interests. I’m committed to promoting community engagement and bringing in people to participate in decisions that impact them directly. I will advocate for transparency and accountability both before and after budget decisions. Taxpayers deserve to know their dollars are being spent on things that matter most and handled with care. After 20+ years of living in Bellingham, I’ve recently returned to the county where I was raised and reside in Sumas close to family. All my greatest experiences and milestones have been here, amongst family, friends, and neighbors. Each of these communities has played a part in shaping my life, and I am deeply committed to Whatcom County. I humbly ask for your vote.
