Statement: Hello, I'm Dan Purdy, an experienced executive ready to serve you. With a background as an entrepreneur, management consultant, and lean professional, I bring over 25 years of expertise from various company sizes and sectors. Throughout my career, I demonstrated effective leadership and responsible financial management. My guiding principles include discipline, transparency, and accountability which extends to balancing our $271M revenue budget. I’m committed to a strategy that reduces rising living costs and unnecessary housing regulations. I’m dedicated to prioritizing environmental stewardship and promoting sustainable development for our county's future. My wife and three teenagers know that my decision- making process is respectful, fair, and balanced. I’ll bring this same approach to the challenges facing Whatcom County. We must support both law enforcement and first responders, while simultaneously increasing mental health services and addiction treatment. By striking a harmonious balance between growth and preservation, we can safeguard Whatcom County's natural beauty and agricultural legacy for future generations. I’m approaching this campaign as a CEO job interview. I value your input, will actively listen, ask open-ended questions, and consider your perspectives to find reasonable consensus. As one of Whatcom County’s taxpayers, what do you value and want in your CEO? For More Information: (360) 922-3858 info@danpurdy.com www.DanPurdy.comE
