Candidate Statement

Elected Experience
Endorsed by Sheriff Bill Elfo, Former Bellingham Police Chief Flo Simon, Whatcom County Council; Kathy Kershner, Tyler Byrd, Ben Elenbaas, Everson City Council Matt Goering.

Other Professional Experience
After serving 4 years in the Marine Corps, I spent 23 years in towing building a successful career as a business owner. I also worked with legislators in Olympia to create Hailey’s Law which addresses drunk driving protocols.

After graduating Meridian High School I obtained numerous certifications throughout my career to include auctioneering.

Community Service
I have volunteered with MDA, Lydia Place, Blue Skies for Children, Meridian Boosters, American Legion, Young Life, VFW and many more.

Public Safety, overwhelming Police reform has contributed to a statewide crimewave. I will ensure that Police have the tools they need to properly serve and protect. Homelessness, whether it’s finding housing in combination with sustainable employment or getting access to mental health services, we can solve this issue. Education, we need to help empower parents and their communities to have increased influence and oversight at the local level. I want to use my business and military background to bring private sector solutions to government problems. I will fight for Whatcom County!
