The recount will involve Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, and San Juan counties. I would like to know if you are the GOP of Bellingham that is responsible for the recent political flyer which suggests Pinky Vargas is in someway more interested in Seattle than her District 42. It is a swarmy and purposely misleading piece of literature which takes full advantage of Photoshop. I have no idea who I will be voting for, but I am increasingly aware of the low road taken by the Republicans and this is clearly an example. I intend to get to the bottom of this before I make up my mind. I sure hope I get a response.

We are Whatcom Republicans, not ‘GOP of Bellingham’. We have created no such mailers or flyers. Seattle interests are definitely investing in Whatcom County races, but that wasn’t us saying it.
