This time around, we matter.

Republicans campaigning to be the party's nominee for president are visiting Washington state this year to garner support ahead of the March 3 Republican caucuses. Rick Santorum, former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, and Texas Congressman Ron Paul have visited, and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney plans to visit March 1.

Their visits reflect how important Washington could be in deciding the nominee, who hasn't been selected yet.
